Comprehensive Veterinary Care

A healthy kitten is a happy kitten. Before any of our babies leave for their forever homes, they undergo a rigorous schedule of preventative veterinary care, strictly adhering to the welfare guidelines set out by International Cat Care and the GCCF.

🩺 Double Vet Checks: Every kitten is thoroughly examined by our certified veterinary surgeon at 9 weeks and again at 12 weeks of age.
💉 Full Vaccinations: Kittens receive their primary core vaccines protecting against Feline Infectious Enteritis (FIE), Feline Herpes Virus (FHV), and Feline Calicivirus (FCV).
🛡️ Microchipping: Compulsory in the UK, all kittens are microchipped and registered to you before departure.
🐛 Parasite Prevention: A strict, vet-prescribed flea and worming schedule is maintained from 4 weeks of age.

Breed-Specific Genetic Testing

We utilize leading laboratories like Langford Vets for comprehensive DNA screening. We only breed from genetically clear parents to eradicate hereditary diseases.

Persian Testing

Our beautiful Persian lines are strictly tested to be negative for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). We also monitor for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) to ensure perfect ocular health and a long, comfortable life for these gentle companions.

British Shorthair Testing

Our traditional British Shorthair kings and queens are DNA screened for PKD and ALPS (Autoimmune Lymphoproliferative Syndrome). We also conduct regular echocardiograms to screen for HCM, ensuring their strong, cobby bodies are matched by a strong heart.

Maine Coon Testing

Because of their immense size, our majestic Maine Coons undergo stringent testing for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), and PKDef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency), securing the structural and internal health of these gentle giants.
